Role Description:They are currently looking for x2 part-time Property Manager to join the team at a branch office in Trebetherick, located near Polzeath/Rock. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, personable individual with a passion for property and customer service. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our managed services and act as a key liaison for homeowners in the Polzeath and surrounding villages. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards across the property portfolio, ensuring smooth communication with property owners, and ensuring the quality of the properties under the care remains exceptional at all times.As a Property Manager your role will play a crucial part in making sure that our properties are presented in pristine condition, that all operational processes run smoothly, and that homeowners and guests receive the best possible service. This is a rewarding role for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with homeowners, contractors, and service providers. Working Hours and Salary Expectations: Working Hours: 24 hours per week, spread over 4 days. Open to discussing flexible working hours to suit both parties. Salary: £18,000 to £20,000 per annum (pro-rata), depending on experience.Key Responsibilities: Property Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of properties, serving as the main point of contact for all property owners. You will ensure that each property is well-maintained and operating smoothly. Housekeeping Coordination: Liaise with and coordinate external housekeepers to ensure that cleaning schedules are adhered to, with consistently high standards of cleanliness maintained across all properties. Contractor and Trades Coordination: Work with external contractors and tradespeople to resolve any property issues efficiently, ensuring that any repairs or maintenance are carried out promptly and professionally. Linen Management: Ensure that linen is ordered on time and that linen bags are packed, labelled, and ready for housekeepers to collect. You will be responsible for managing linen stock and ensuring it is available when needed. Stock Control: Maintain proper stock levels of essential supplies for the properties, ensuring everything needed for guests’ comfort is available and well-managed. Handling Inquiries: Take care of incoming telephone, email, and walk-in inquiries. You will be the go-to person for any queries relating to property bookings or property issues. Property Visits: Carry out frequent property visits to ensure that each property meets our high standards of quality and that owners and guests are satisfied with the upkeep of their accommodation.Qualifications and Skills: Excellent Communication Skills: You should have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including property owners, contractors, housekeepers, and guests. Customer Service Excellence: A strong focus on customer service, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with owners and service providers quickly and effectively. Strong Organisational Skills: You must have excellent time management and organisation skills to handle multiple tasks and ensure that all properties under your care are properly maintained and managed. Ability to Work Independently: You will be required to take initiative and work independently, while also being a reliable team player. Saturday Availability: As part of the role, you will be required to work on Saturdays. Professional & Friendly Approach: The ability to engage with people in a professional and approachable manner is essential in this customer-facing role. Full Clean Driving License: A full, clean driving license is essential for this role as you will be required to travel between properties. Experience in Property Management (desirable but not essential): While experience in property management is an advantage, it is not a requirement.
