The RoleAs a Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of managing and developing key client relationships within the UK municipal water sector. You’ll focus on driving sales growth, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction by providing tailored, environmentally responsible solutions. Key responsibilities include: Managing relationships with key customers and developing new business opportunities. Building strong partnerships with existing and prospective clients across the water industry. Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities. Preparing and presenting detailed proposals for technical solutions and services. Collaborating across operational and technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.About YouYou’ll be a commercially minded, technically aware account manager with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.We’re looking for someone who has: Excellent commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills. Proven experience in technical sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the water, engineering, or environmental sectors. The ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior decision-makers. Strong organisational and analytical skills with great attention to detail. A proactive, self-motivated attitude and a collaborative mindset. Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland as required.Knowledge of wastewater processes, asset lifecycle management, or municipal water infrastructure will be highly advantageous.
