Sous Chef – Stunning Coastal Hotel, NewquayOur client, a beautiful coastal hotel in Newquay, is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join their busy kitchen team.Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to lead the team, prepare and develop menu items, maintain high food standards, and oversee stock control and ordering.Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes to a consistently excellent standard. Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and menu development. Help supervise and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring the smooth running of service. Maintain excellent standards of food quality, freshness, hygiene and presentation. Assist with stock management, ordering and monitoring supplies. Follow established recipes and ensure consistency across all dishes.The Ideal Candidate: Has a genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry. Can work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Remains calm and organised under pressure. Is eager to develop their skills and progress their career within the industry.What’s on Offer? Salary: £34,500- £35,000 per annum, plus tips.
