Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L reporting and clear financial commentary. Monitor performance against budget, identifying risks and opportunities. Maintain effective financial processes, controls, reconciliations and debtor management. Oversee purchase ledger and supplier payment processes. Oversee payroll and tronc administration. Coordinate annual audit and support statutory accounts and compliance requirements, including VAT and pensions. Lead and develop a small finance team while promoting financial awareness across the wider business.Person Specification Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or Assistant Financial Controller. Hospitality or leisure experience strongly preferred. ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience. Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow and management accounting experience. Hands-on payroll experience; tronc experience is an advantage. Strong Excel/IT skills and experience with accounting systems. Commercial, analytical and hands-on approach with strong communication skills. High integrity, attention to detail and a customer-focused, approachable manner.
