The Role As a Production Operative, you'll play an essential part in ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards. Working as part of a close-knit production team, you'll support the manufacturing process while helping the business consistently achieve production targets. Key Responsibilities Operate efficiently as part of the production team to achieve daily production targets. Work safely and effectively on your designated production line. Maintain excellent housekeeping standards using a "clean as you go" approach. Operate in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Ensure product quality is maintained throughout the production process. Follow food safety, hygiene and quality procedures at all times. Support effective shift handovers to ensure smooth production. Communicate effectively with colleagues, Team Leaders and Line Managers. Identify and report any issues that may affect safety, quality or production. Help minimise waste and improve production efficiency. Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures. About You We're looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and has a positive attitude towards quality and continuous improvement. You'll ideally have: Previous experience within food manufacturing or production (preferred but not essential). A good understanding of food hygiene and manufacturing standards. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A flexible approach to work. Pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. You'll Be Reliable and punctual. A strong team player. Positive and hardworking. Safety conscious. Quality focused. Working Environment This role is based within a busy food manufacturing facility and will involve: Working as part of a production team. Standing for extended periods. Working in a fast-paced environment. Exposure to varying temperatures and production noise. Following strict food safety, hygiene and PPE requirements. Working around food allergens.
