Working closely with Senior Management and cross-functional teams, you'll play a key role in delivering projects that improve efficiency, support business growth, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained.If you enjoy solving problems, coordinating people, and seeing projects through from concept to completion, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.The OpportunityAs Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a variety of operational and business improvement projects across the site. From introducing new products and installing equipment to improving production processes and reducing waste, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Working closely with Production, Technical, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Sales and Senior Management, you'll become the central point of coordination, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining exceptional food safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities Lead projects from concept through to successful completion. Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and risk assessments. Coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning actions and ensuring deadlines are met. Support new product launches, product changes and packaging developments. Work alongside Production and Technical teams to ensure compliance with food safety, quality and traceability requirements. Monitor project costs, supplier performance and purchasing requirements. Identify project risks and implement practical solutions to keep projects on track. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction and sustainable growth. Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress updates. Promote a safe working environment, ensuring Health & Safety remains at the forefront of every project.About YouWe're looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure to busy operational environments and can confidently manage multiple projects at once.You'll ideally have: Previous Project Management experience within manufacturing, food production, FMCG or a similar operational environment. Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience managing project budgets, timelines and risks. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels. A practical, solutions-focused mindset. Good understanding of food safety, quality systems and manufacturing compliance. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Change Management would be advantageous. A recognised Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, PMP or Agile) would be beneficial, although relevant experience is equally valued.Typical ProjectsYou'll have the opportunity to lead projects such as: New product launches and reformulations. Packaging and artwork updates. Factory layout improvements and equipment installations. Waste reduction and process optimisation. Food safety and compliance improvements. Supplier and supply chain projects. Business systems and workflow improvements.What's on Offer Salary: £40,000–£45,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
