Job Title: Private Client Tax ManagerLocation: Truro, CornwallContract Type: Full-time, Permanent About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Private Client Tax Manager to join our Truro office. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with strong technical expertise and client relationship skills to manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and families. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee a portfolio of private clients, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. Review and prepare self-assessment tax returns, computations, and associated tax documents. Provide proactive tax planning and advisory support to clients on areas such as inheritance tax, trusts, capital gains tax, and estate planning. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for all tax-related matters. Lead, mentor, and develop junior members of the tax team, providing guidance and technical training. Work collaboratively with other departments and offices to deliver an integrated client service. Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Skills & Experience Required CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in private client taxation. Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax, trusts, and estates. Previous experience managing a portfolio of private clients. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and accessible way. Strong leadership skills, with experience of developing and managing junior staff.
