JOB TITLE: KITCHEN PORTERLOCATION: OUTSKIRTS OF PADSTOWHOURS: FULL TIMEPAY: £13.00 PER HOUR + TIPSTo apply please submit your CV or give Steph a call at Winners Recruitment, Truro, on 01872 264744Duties Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor Supporting the organisation of storage areas, including stock rotation and inventory management Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and other kitchen areas throughout shifts Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods by helping with serving or other tasks as required Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies at all timesQualifications Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food preparation and basic cooking techniques is advantageous Familiarity with kitchen hygiene standards and health & safety regulations within hospitality settings Good organisational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure Strong team player with excellent communication skills Enthusiastic attitude towards learning new skills within the culinary and hospitality sectorsThis role offers an engaging environment for those passionate about hospitality, providing valuable experience in a professional setting.
