Providing responsive, professional customer service and ensuring customers receive the right solution. Working collaboratively within a small team to support the continued growth and success of the business. What are we looking for?Our client is looking for someone with energy, initiative and a genuine appetite for sales. You’ll be comfortable picking up the phone, building relationships, chasing opportunities and taking ownership of the sales process from initial enquiry through to securing the business. You could be a great fit if you have: Experience in a sales, account management, business development or customer-facing commercial role. A proactive approach to generating business, rather than relying solely on incoming enquiries. Confidence communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues. Strong negotiation, relationship-building and follow-up skills. A commercial mindset, with the ability to balance customer needs with profitability. Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and quotations. A positive, adaptable attitude and the ability to thrive within a small team.Experience in builders’ merchants, construction, building materials or a related industry would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
