QA TechnicianLocation: Bodmin, CornwallSalary: Competitive (DOE)Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Join a Leading Food Manufacturing Business Winners Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established food manufacturing business in the search for a QA Technician to join their Technical team based in Bodmin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with quality assurance or food manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about food safety, quality and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards while supporting the positive release of finished products and maintaining compliance with food safety legislation. The Role Reporting to the QA Supervisor, you'll be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the Quality department by ensuring products meet specification and all quality documentation is completed accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include: Booking in microbiological samples to support product release. Checking production paperwork and ensuring non-conformances are identified and closed out. Reporting quality issues and assisting with corrective actions. Collecting and recalling product samples where required. Assisting with taste panels and sensory evaluations. Updating and maintaining quality documentation. Supporting product release activities. Carrying out quality checks in line with GMP and food safety standards. Ensuring all records are completed accurately and legibly. Maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the production environment. Supporting the wider QA team with daily quality activities. Promoting a strong food safety culture across the site. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies and reporting hazards, accidents or near misses.  About You We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working within food manufacturing and takes pride in maintaining the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience within a Quality Assurance or food manufacturing environment. Food Hygiene qualification. Knowledge of HACCP principles. Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills. The ability to prioritise work and remain organised in a busy environment. A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.  You'll Be Methodical and organised. A strong communicator. A team player who enjoys supporting colleagues. Flexible and adaptable.
