Electromechanical Engineer (Electrical Bias) Location: Roche, CornwallSalary: £37,500 per annum + Double Time OvertimeJob Type: Full-Time | Permanent Join a Leading Manufacturing Business Winners Recruitment is delighted to be supporting one of the UK's leading manufacturing businesses in the search for an Electromechanical Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their established engineering team based in Roche. Working on a rotating shift pattern averaging just 42 hours per week, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving production equipment while contributing to continuous improvement projects across the site. The Role As an Electromechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring production machinery and site equipment operate efficiently through planned maintenance, fault finding and repair. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on production machinery. Diagnosing faults quickly to minimise production downtime. Maintaining electrical systems, drives and control equipment. Completing planned preventative maintenance schedules. Supporting continuous improvement and manufacturing optimisation projects. Assisting with general site maintenance and facilities tasks where required. Working independently while collaborating closely with the wider engineering team. Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.About You We're looking for an experienced engineer who enjoys problem-solving and working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have: A recognised Electrical Engineering qualification. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred). Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience working with electrical drives and PCB fault finding. Strong mechanical engineering ability alongside electrical skills. The ability to work independently and manage your own workload. Good communication and organisational skills. A proactive approach to continuous improvement.Desirable Experience operating a lathe. MIG and/or TIG welding experience. Experience working across a variety of production machinery.What's on Offer?
