JOB TITLE: HOTEL OPERATIONS MANAGERLOCATION: FALMOUTHSALARY: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + TIPSWe are seeking a Hotel Operations Manager to join our clients Management Team at their 4* Country Hotel & Spa.Candidates must have hotel management experience and a calm, can-do attitude. They must be strong leaders and communicators, able to motivate teams and work well with colleagues and guests. Candidates must be proactive, highly guest focused, and detail-oriented, with strong organisational skills. Drive in-house revenue by maximising guest spend across the Restaurant, Bar, and Spa facilities. Ensure consistent delivery of high-performance standards, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business. Effectively manage and resolve guest complaints in a professional manner, in line with company policies and procedures. Maintain and enhance the hotel's reputation through exceptional service and operational excellence. Build, lead, and develop motivated, high-performing teams across all departments. Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and staff development in accordance with company policies and operational manuals. Collaborate with the Operations Director and Sales Department to optimise sales performance, marketing initiatives, and revenue management strategies. Monitor and control departmental budgets and labour costs to ensure financial efficiency. Ensure the hotel property is maintained to a high standard through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement programmes. Maintain full compliance with all relevant legislation and company requirements relating to fire safety, health and safety, environmental health, and other regulatory obligations. Prepare and deliver accurate management reports as required. Uphold high standards of financial control, reporting accuracy, and operational diligence. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational manuals. Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required to support the successful operation of the hotel.
