The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a dynamic hospitality environment, managing kitchen operations and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.To apply please submit your CV to stephanie@winners-recruitment.co.uk or call Steph at Winners Recruitment, Truro, on 01872 264744Responsibilities Lead and supervise the kitchen team, including chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment Plan and develop innovative menus that meet customer expectations and reflect current culinary trends Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation Manage all aspects of food safety and hygiene compliance in accordance with health regulations Coordinate daily kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness Train and mentor junior staff to develop their skills and ensure consistent service delivery Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction Monitor food costs and optimise utilisation of ingredients without compromising qualitySkills Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques Excellent team management skills, capable of motivating staff and fostering a positive work culture Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations Experience in restaurant or hospitality settings with a focus on high-quality service delivery Leadership qualities with the ability to organise multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Good understanding of food production processes and menu development Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and suppliers confidently A passion for innovation in cuisine and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiencesBenefits: Discounted or free food Employee discount Free parking Gym membership On-site parking
